Tampa Bay Buccaneers Odds, Predictions, and Betting Preview 2022: Brady Back to Earth?

Regardless of how the 2022 season trickles down for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, this year is going to make for one compelling episode of “Man in the Arena” based on the offseason alone.

Tom Brady’s retirement had the life span of a New Year’s resolution and Bruce Arians hung up his Kangol and Darth Vader chest piece, turning the team over to promoted defensive coordinator Todd Bowles.

On paper, all the pieces of a championship team are still in Tampa and the Bucs’ NFL odds confirm that outlook, pricing them among the top contenders in terms of Super Bowl, NFC title, and season win total markets.

We poke around the pirate ship to figure out the best ways to wager on Tampa Bay in 2022 (Unders off the starboard bow!). Ahoy…

Saints vs Chargers Preseason Picks and Predictions: L.A. Holds Value as Home Dog

Even with Hurricane Hilary threatening Southern California on Sunday, the New Orleans Saints and Los Angeles Chargers are still scheduled to lock horns for their scheduled preseason game.

What does the second week of preseason have in store? Looking at NFL odds, the Saints are expected to blow into town and cruise to victory. I’m generally not a fan of laying points with the road team in preseason action, so allow me to dive deeper into this matchup to determine if the line is warranted.

Read on for my best bet and full NFL preseason picks and predictions for the Saints vs. Chargers on Sunday, August 20.

Bryce Young Odds and TNF Props: Panthers Take to the Air vs. Bears Defense

Isiah Pacheco Odds and AFC Championship Props: Ravens Aided as They Clamp Run Game

At this point, the Kansas City Chiefs seem inevitable as Andy Reid’s team gets set to play in its sixth straight AFC Championship — but for the first time, they’ll be vying for a Super Bowl ticket on the road. This Baltimore Ravens team doesn’t only have home-field advantage and the likely MVP at quarterback; it’s got a ferocious defense.

With how loaded Baltimore is, the NFL odds have the Ravens as 4-point home favorites, and they’re in position to take advantage of a banged-up Chiefs running game. While Isiah Pacheco odds have been trendy targets in recent weeks, injuries and this defense should be able to slow him in a sloppy weather game.

You can see how I’m betting on the Chiefs running back as we dive into the NF…

Cowboys vs Steelers Early Picks, Predictions & Odds for SNF Week 5

Two of the most storied franchises in football lore lock up on Sunday Night Football when the Pittsburgh Steelers host the Dallas Cowboys in Week 5.

Pittsburgh’s strong start to the schedule hit its first speedbump with a loss last week, but my early Cowboys vs. Steelers predictions expect the home side to get back on track with a cover this week.

Find out more in my NFL picks for Sunday, October 6 below.

My analysisThe Pittsburgh Steelers defense took a shot to the chin in a loss to the Colts, but this is still one of the stingiest stop units in the land and it enters Week 5 ranked Top 8 in the “holy of holy” adv…

The Men’s NCAA Tournament is just over the horizon and as its 32 automatic bids are earned in rapid-fire over the next week, it can be too much to track on your own. That’s what this space is for. One of these 32 automatic bids from a smaller conference is likely to become a Cinderella, but first gaining entry into the ball is the priority. Phil Neville says Beth England must do more if she wants to oust Ellen White

Phil Neville has urged Beth England to “keep driving forward to get that No 9 shirt” from first-choice centre-forward Ellen White after the Chelsea striker scored a hat-trick in Friday’s internal friendly.

“I think she’s getting fitter and stronger and has more confidence and more belief,” said the manager at the close of England’s last camp of 2020. “I’ve worked really closely with Emma [Hayes] at Chelsea – we’ve both been challenging Beth to get up to the levels she was. It was eight months ago that she won all those awards – that’s a long time in football – and now this camp has been her best camp so far.”

FA investigates Tuchel’s ‘Chelsea have issues with referee’ comments

The Football Association is investigating Thomas Tuchel’s remarks regarding Anthony Taylor after Chelsea’s head coach suggested the referee should no longer officiate his side’s games.

Tuchel, who is already likely to be hit with a one-game ban after his extraordinary touchline clash over a handshake with Antonio Conte at the end of Chelsea’s 2-2 draw with Tottenham on Sunday, is facing the prospect of further disciplinary action by appearing to question Taylor’s impartiality. Both managers have been charged over the incident and have until Thursday to respond.
