Euro 2012 Group A: Poland 1 Russia 1

Euro 2012 co-hosts Poland came from behind to win a crucial point in an exciting 1-1 draw against Russia in Warsaw on Tuesday.

Russia entered the game on the back of a 4-1 victory over the Czech Republic in their Euro 2012 opener and took the lead after 37 minutes through Alan Dzagoev.

Dzagoev who scored twice against the Czechs headed Andrey Arshavin s free-kick past Polish goalkeeper Przemyslaw Tyton and into the back of the net.

Polish captain Jakub Blaszczykowski produced a stunning response, though, scoring a long-range left-footer from outside the box just 12 minutes into the second half.
